This summer, Henschell Chiropractic Wellness Center will celebrate its 10-year anniversary in Bonney Lake, while simultaneously breaking ground on a new location.

The new center will be located at 20019 S. Prairie Road E., just past the Albertson’s Shopping Center on the north side of the road. A drive-through coffee shop will be attached to it.

Owner Andrea Henschell said the center is looking for a coffee company to come in and run the drive-through shop.

“We’d like to find a local company,” Henschell said. “We want to keep it family-orientated, family-owned and local.”

Henschell said the center plans to break ground on the new location in the next four to six weeks and plans to host a grand opening at the end of the year.

“We are really excited to be expanding and adding to the community,” Henschell said.

Henschell said the center is moving because the current location is too small for the therapists to work at the same time.

Marty Henschell, Andrea's husband and a chiropractor, wanted to run his own business. The Henschells opened the center in 2000, at the urging of friends who thought Bonney Lake would be a good location. The center's current location is 19950 S. Prairie Road E., in the Albertson’s Shopping Center.
