Wow what a week it has been for the residents of Bonney Lake and surrounding. What started as snow later became; ice, wind, trees falling, and no POWER. One thing that is noticed time and time again though was the kindness of neighbors and strangers. We bond together when the chips are down and lend a hand. Many had friends move in with them, share off their generators, or help clean yard debris. And as I drive down HWY 410 there is still a reminder of those days as seen in the broken trees that line the stretch of highway.
However as we still struggle to still gain power in areas and clean the mess left behind its hard to recall how wonderfully beautiful it was just a few days ago. I was lucky enough to go out and do a little shooting in the snow just prior to the ice storm. I wanted to share something uplifting with you.
