Spring Has Sprung

Get outside and enjoy the sun and colors of spring while it lasts.

I'm sure I was not the only person in Bonney Lake who had a great weekend in the much needed sunshine. My legs were in over-shock due to their ultra pale whiteness this weekend as I dawned my first pair of shorts for the year and soaked up some vitamin D.

Spring is a great time to get out and take photos of blooms and color. I wanted to share a few I took and remind you photo enthusiasts or hobbyist to get on out there and shoot those cherry blossom trees and tulips. They are almost gone. Point Defiance Park is AMAZING this time of year. The property is filled with daffodils and tulips of every hue. If you cant make the drive to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival I highly recommend staying local and visit this Tacoma park. We attempted to make the trek up to Skagit, but found in the busy world of parenting a two hour drive to see flowers just wasn't going to work for us. Thus - we were Tacoma-bound once again.Β

If you decide to visit either of these locations be sure to use my tips from my prior to practice shooting your own children.Β
