Unique, Fabulous, and Affordable Children's Clothing

Local mom and designer creates fun and affordable clothing for children

I'm back. It’s been quiet the few weeks for my little family and this busy working mom has been cleaning up after sick babies and shaking off the illness myself. Now that I'm back in the world of the living I wanted to get back to blogging. When I started this blog I promised to share some of my favorite local vendors. Since my husband and I are both entrepreneurs, we get the pleasure of networking with many of Bonney Lakes finest small business owners. This town is filled with some of the craftiest artisans from photographers like myself, to woman who manufacture hats and children's clothes and accessories.

I'm a busy working mom who has very little time to shop in the store, so I do a lot of my shopping on-line and on Facebook business sites. Last year at Bonney Lake Days I met a Jackie of Unique Creations by Jacqueline and since that time I have purchased several items off her site.

Jackie, a stay at home mom/business owner, crafts some of the cutest hair accessories for children of all ages. She also has an expanded line of pedi-skirts, rompers and leggings. But these aren’t the "plain Jane" items you see in the store. Jackie adds flare to each one with (as her name states) unique bows, flowers, and jem stones. Don't see what you want on her site - no problem - she can make it. If you have a vision she can create it.

Patch actually profiled Jackie last year. You can read it here: Bonney Lake Mom Hits Top Trends for Tot Set

Being two crafty woman, we wanted to collaborate together on a project - a styled photo shoot featuring some of her amazing product line. Our beautiful models were our own children. Because Jackie's creations are full of bright color and patterns such as hot pinks and zebra prints, I wanted to style a shoot that really showed off the fun of the items. We headed down to the local skate park, then followed it up with a little mock graffiti spray painting (which was really silly string). The girls had a blast playing dress up and dancing around in the flowing skirts and we had a blast capturing the moments.

And be sure to stop by and LIKE Jacqueline's FACEBOOK page and check out more of her great items.
