Adoptable Pets of the Week: Introducing Loveable Lilly and Sassy Soleil

Animals deserve great homes and loving families so why not visit Puyallup's Metro Animal Shelter and adopt a furry bundle of love... or two.

Hi, my name is Lilly.

I am an adorable female cattle dog lab mix.  Don’t let my gray muzzle worry you; I am actually around 4 years old and have many more good years that I want to spend with my next family or person.  I’m not sure where my owner is right now but things happen for a reason which is why I’m here waiting for the love and affection of someone new.

I am an absolute lover and I will loyally lay by your side—I like to lean if that tells you how close I like to be.  I am sweet and gentle natured and yes, I love attention… lots of attention! As a side note: because of my background as a herding dog, I might not be the best choice for children or babies.

I have a petite body and some of the best and biggest loving dark brown eyes around. I love basking in the sun and can hardly wait to do this with my new owner(s).

Hi, my name is Soleil.

I’m Soleil and I am so cute I can hardly stand it. (If I don’t say so myself!)  I am a domestic medium haired black and white cat who wants nothing more than to be petted.  My favorite human hand spot is the top of my head and under my ears… purrrfect petting zones.

I am also quite curious and do love to be paid attention to—perhaps that’s just my female nature.  I have a youthful spirit am around two or three years old but still act like a kitten. If my soft fur doesn’t get you, my fantastic green saucer-like eyes will melt your heart.  I have a very loving personality and I really want nothing more than to be the cat of someone’s dreams.  An occasional treat is appreciated too.

For more information about Lilly and Soleil, please contact Allison Judge, shelter assistant at Metro Animal Services in Puyallup or come for a visit at the office located at 1200 39th Ave SE, Puyallup, WA 98374.  253-299-PETS ext. 3.  Or visit www.MetroAnimalServices.org.

In addition to these two adorable pets are several other wonderful cats and dogs at the shelter that need homes.
