Adoptable Pets of the Week: Jack and Myrtle

Metro Animal Services has some new and fabulous pets that need adopting. Today we are proudly showcasing Jack and Myrtle.

Meet Jack

Hi!  My name is Jack and I am a handsome male Boxer. Take one look into my deep brownish black eyes and I know you will want to take me home with you. I am amazing with children and cats and have an outgoing and affectionate personality. I do like to be near you as I am very loyal and love a good rub on the head--I will even sneak a lick in every now and then.

I am four years old and fit as a fiddle. I am also micro-chipped and neutered and did I mention I was great with kids? Unfortunately I was not given the chance at my last home so when the baby arrived, they put me up for adoption. I am here at Metro Animal Services for now but I hope to be part of a wonderful family soon.

Meet Myrtle

Hi--my name is Myrtle and I may not like long walks on the beach or sipping champagne by the fire, but I am willing and quite content to be your confidante and friend forever. I don't require much; just some petting and some kind words. I am very sweet and gentle and can be quite playful as I am still a kitten.

I am a female tuxedo (black and white coloring) and am fairly new to the world, as I am only four months old. I am a domestic medium hair feline which sounds oh so grown up! If you like a smaller cat, then I am the one for you as I am very petite. Though small, I have a big heart and an even bigger purr.
