Bonney Lake Community Giving Tree Awaits Your Generous Donations

The Bonney Lake Police Department is collecting donations of new toys for needy children in our area through Dec. 10.

While doing your holiday shopping this season, consider picking up a little something for a child who otherwise probably wouldn't be receiving any presents this year.

From now through Dec. 10, Bonney Lake Police are collecting donations of new toys for the Bonney Lake Community Giving Tree program at the police station at 18421 Veterans Memorial Drive E. Those who would like to donate a more specific gift are also welcome to stop by to pick a specific child's tag off the Giving Tree quilt.

Drop boxes are located in the lobby of the station, which is open to the public Mondays through Fridays 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

While you're there, the city of Bonney Lake's Annual Food Drive also continues through Dec. 14. Collection boxes are located with the toy drop boxes in the station's lobby area. All items collected are given to the local Bonney Lake Food Bank, Bread of Life Food Bank and local senior citizens.
