Join your neighbors and help clean up Lake Tapps at the first annual Lake Tapps Trash Bash.
To participate, collect a bucket from The Home Depot in Bonney Lake on Friday between 2 p.m. and 9 p.m. Distribution will be held in the NE corner of the parking lot. The buckets will be collected after you dump the trash into one of the 5 collection points around the lake. These dumpsters will be monitored and for use only for item removed from the lake bed, NOT ice storm branches and such.
Collection points are as follows
1 Allan Yorke Park
2 East Pierce County station ... Kitty cornered from Al Lago on West Tapps
3 Pierce County park located on the North end of the lake.
4 Tapps Island boat launch
5 Located between Snag and Inlet Islands on 214th on the South end of the large field in the gravel lot on east side of road
