Grab and Go Kids Planner: Art Lessons, Pajama Story Time

ART LESSONS, ARTS ALIVE, ENUMCLAW

WHEN? Thursdays & Fridays, times vary by age

WHY GO?  Kids ages 5-18 can join this weekly art program that features a variety of mediums, from clay, textiles, paper, paint and more.

HOW MUCH? $15 per child, includes materials, $10 for sibling

HOME DEPOT KIDS WORKSHOP, BONNEY LAKE

WHEN? Saturday, May 7 at 9am

WHY GO? Spend a morning with the kids, ages 5 and up, building a wooden flower planter for mom.  The raw wood structures are built by your child and can be painted to personalize the gift.

HOW MUCH?  Free

SOUTH KING COUNTY COLTS FOOTBALL, SUNSET STADIUM, SUMNER

WHEN?  Saturday, May 7.  Kickoff is at 6pm

WHY GO?  Support Semi-Professional Football in our own backyard and cheer on the South King County Colts (SKCC) as they take on the Grays Harbor Bearcats.  This home game, the first of five to be played in Sumner this summer, is the third game of the Colt’s third season in the Pacific Football League.

HOW MUCH?  Tickets are $10 each. Children, seniors and military pay $5.

ROCKWELL MOTHER’S DAY BRUNCH, TACOMA ART MUSEUM

WHEN? Sunday, May 8 from 10am – 2pm

WHY GO?  Enjoy a traditional American breakfast buffet in the style of Norman Rockwell’s iconic portaits.  Then, view the Rockwell Exhibit being featured at the Tacoma Art Museum. Breakfast includes pancakes, hash browns, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, fresh fruit and oatmeal.

HOW MUCH? $20 per person includes breakfast and museum exhibit. Children 5 and under are free. Reservation is required.

CRITTER CAMP OUT, BLACK DIAMOND LIBRARY

WHEN? May 9 from 6:30pm – 7:15pm

WHY GO?  Kids age three and up are invited to a Pajama Story Time at the library. Bring your favorite stuffed friend, and tuck them into the library for the night. Return in the morning at 10:30am for snacks and find out what your critter was up to in the night. Keepsake photos will be included.
