WHY GO? This year marks the 78th Annual Daffodil Festival with the parade that snakes through the cities of Tacoma, Puyallup, Sumner and Orting.

HOW MUCH? Free
Overnight Movie Marathon, Buckley Youth CenterWHEN? April 9 from 7:30 p.m. until April 10 at 9 a.m.
WHY GO? For kids aged 12-16, this movie marathon will include pizza, drinks and a pancake breakfast.
HOW MUCH? Cost is $5 with required registration. Contact the Youth Activity Center at 360-829-6534
WHEN? Runs April 11 through May 18th
WHY GO? Open to Sumner School District students in 4th and 5th grades, the six-week after-school track program helps develop character and academic accountability. Practices are held Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays and run approximately 90 minutes.
HOW MUCH? $45 per child and includes a T-shirt.
Build and Grow Workshop, Lowe's Home Improvement, Bonney LakeWHEN? April 9, 10 a.m.
WHY GO? Young kids can gain experience with hand tools and reap benefits of creating their own project. This week’s project is a wooden pin ball game.
