Halloween Crafts, Stories, Traditions and More at Pierce County Libraries

TACOMA – Children and families will have fun learning during hands-on Halloween events at Pierce County Library System. Friends of the Libraries sponsor these free events.

Bonney Lake Pierce County Library, 18501 90th St. E.Saturday, Oct. 19, 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Halloween Mask Making Drop in and create a unique Halloween mask. All supplies provided. Ideal for elementary school ages.

Buckley Pierce County Library, 123 S. River Ave.Thursday, Oct. 31, 4 p.m. Ghoulish Goodies and Timeless Tales Start the Halloween celebration at the library! Share some (not so) scary stories and Halloween treats. Costumes are encouraged.

Fife Pierce County Library, 6622 20th St. E.Tuesday, Oct. 29, 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. Plants vs. Zombies Party Ages 8 – 12 will play the game, create plant or zombie shrink plastic crafts, win prizes and have a light snack.

Gig Harbor Pierce County Library, 4424 Point Fosdick Drive N.W.Saturday, Oct. 26, 10:30, 11 or 11:30 a.m. Haunted Gingerbread Houses Make and decorate a Halloween gingerbread house! Tillicum Pierce County Library, 14916 Washington Ave. S.W.Saturday, Oct. 26, 2 p.m. Scary Stories around the Campfire Sit by a look-alike indoor campfire while enjoying not-too-scary stories appropriate for families, told by Fireside Story League. A fun craft and Halloween treats will follow. Costumes are encouraged.
