Lake Tapps Waters at Full Recreational Levels

Lake Tapps is now completely filled and ready for play.

Cascade Water Alliance announced today that the water level in Lake Tapps has officially reached full recreational pool of 541.5 feet. Over the next week, the lake level will increase to approximately 542.0 feet and Cascade will maintain a lake level between 542 and 543 feet throughout the summer months. 

Cascade's 2009 agreement with the Lake Tapps Community Council (LTCC); its White River Management Agreement (WRMA) with the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe and Puyallup Tribe of Indians; and its Lake Tapps Water Rights state that Cascade may begin filling the lake in mid-February each year. The 2012 refill began on March 9.
