Meet a Princess: Kabrina Kidd, Cascade Christian High School

Meet Daffodil Princess Kabrina Kidd, a senior at Cascade Christian High School.

The Daffodil Festival is more than just a parade, and the young women who represent their high schools as Princesses were selected for their future ambitions and passion for community service. Now, they are recognized as official ambassadors of Pierce County.

Grade: Senior

What accomplishments brought you to the Daffodil Festival? I have been dreaming of becoming a Daffodil Princess since about the 6th grade and since you can only be a Daffodil Princess if you're a Senior, I had a long wait. But the time finally came and at the end of the year last year I recieved an invitation to an informational meeting because I was qualified to be a Daffodil Princess. There was no way I was turning that invitation down.

What are your future plans? I plan on attending Seattle Pacific University or Corban University in Salem in the fall.

Who is someone you admire? Someone I really admire is my mom. I know that can seem like a cliche answer, but she has shown me so much. She has taught me what it looks like to be a godly wife and mother. She is slow to get angry and quick to forgive. What I admire in her most is her ability to truly turn the other cheek.

In 10 years, I will be… 10 times closer to God, my family and friends, 10 years more experienced, and 10 years wiser.

One of my hidden talents is… I have been told that I am a pretty good writer. I love writing poetry and short stories. I especially like writing stories with a message. Something that can impact a life for the better.
