It's been nearly a year since Patch last spoke with , but the effort to raise enough money to start up such a mobile unit to deliver much-needed basic medical services is going strong.
Organizers have been hosting near monthly $1 Auction fundraisers at Midtown Grill in Bonney Lake and have their next event lined up for Friday, April 12, but they need your help.
According to the project's Facebook page, they need more donation items to put up for auction.
The event invites the public to place bids on items where all proceeds go toward the medical clinic. There is no admission fee though participants pay $1 each for a paddle with which you'll place your bids. For more information on the April 12 event, click here.
