Pets of the Week: Butterscotch and Tommy

If you are looking to add a joyous new member to your family this holiday season, come on down to Metro Animal Services and meet Butterscotch and Tommy.

This week features two wonderful animals:  Butterscotch and Tommy.  With the holiday season in full swing, I am sure these two beautiful creatures would love to be part of a loving family while curling up next to a warm and cozy fireplace.

Meet Butterscotch

Butterscotch is a light tan Shepherd Labrador Retriever.  She is a petite little girl with gentle brown eyes and a soft short haired coat.  Her soft ears drop sweetly onto her face and yearn for a good long ear rub.  She likes to give little kisses with her cold little nose and she has plenty of affection to go around.

Butterscotch was found as a stray on December 1 off of East Main in Puyallup.  She would make a fine addition to any home.  Because she is only one year old, she has a lot of energy and is in need of some obedience training.  With a little patience and some kind words, Butterscotch will be happily and calmly sitting by her new owner(s) in no time.

Meet Tommy

Tommy is a kitten who just wants love and attention.  He is an orange and white short-haired Tabby with big yellow eyes that will watch you everywhere you go.  He is a young one at only 13 weeks and has many more years to be someone’s adorable pet.

Talkative Tommy is a very vocal pussycat and really only wants to be let out of that cage and be given a home.  He is an owner surrender due to the fact they had just too many animals.  All I can say is that their loss will definitely be someone’s gain!
