This Weekend: Rhubarb Days in Sumner

With a forecast for partly to mostly sunny conditions and highs resting comfortably in the mid 70s this weekend, what better way to enjoy the weather than at the Sumner's Rhubarb Days Festival happening this weekend July 13-14?

With a forecast for partly to mostly sunny conditions and highs resting comfortably in the mid 70s this weekend, what better way to enjoy the Pacific Northwest summer than at the Sumner's Rhubarb Days Festival happening this weekend July 13 and July 14? 

From a mini-farmers market to a rhubarb pie eating contest, kids' petting zoo to free photo ops on tractors, plus a beer garden, there's something for everyone in downtown Sumner. 

Live entertainment will be provided by the Will Power Band (swing/big band), John Hoover and the Quinns (variety), Hillbilly Soul Strutters (County) and 5 Live (80s and 90s dance mix) throughout the day Saturday.

And Rhubarb of the Tacoma Rainiers will make a visit from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday too.
