Scenes from Easter Egg-Extravaganzas in Bonney Lake and Sumner

Kids came ready to find candy at the Bonney Lake and Sumner annual Easter egg hunts, both held on Saturday, April 23.

During the beautiful spring morning of Saturday, April 23, kids and families gathered at Sunset Stadium for the , sponored by East Pierce Firefighters Local 3520. Kids were divided into age groups for the popular hunt and the event lasted only a few minutes as they eagerly filled their baskets with eggs and treats.

In Bonney Lake, it only took 121 seconds for the kids to pick up 15,000 eggs scattered across Allan Yorke Park for the city's annual . The event was open to kids ages 0-11.
