John Spearman took home the gold at the first annual rhubarb pie eating contest in downtown Sumner.
Rhubarb pie, Sumner's most famous delicacy, was consumed in large quantities at the 1st Annual Rhubarb Pie Days in downtown Sumner on Saturday, July 9.
