Wind Advisory Issued for Bonney Lake and Sumner

Local sustained winds of 30-35 mph and gusts of 45-50 mph are likely, which could bring down small trees and branches and cause local power outages, according to the National Weather Service Seattle.

A vigorous frontal system will bring windy conditions to the lowlands of western Washington this afternoon through this evening, prompting a wind advisory to be issued from noon Tuesday through midnight, according to the National Weather Service in Seattle.

Local sustained winds of 30-35 mph and gusts of 45-50 mph are likely.

Winds are expected to increase this morning and reach their peak this afternoon and evening, the NWS said. While winds of this strength should not cause widespread damage, they can bring down small trees and branches causing local power outages.

The forecast for Bonney Lake and Sumner today calls for 100 percent chance of rain with highs near 49 and 50 degrees, respectively.

A wind advisory is issued when sustained winds of 30-39 mph or gusts of 45-57 mph are likely.

This is not the first time or the first person Quinn tried to hurt. I think she has a bitter andRead More evil heart. Instead of building and supporting the city, she prefers to tear down anything good and honorable. I'm so glad the voters saw fit to pass her by when she ran for election! With her attitude, it would have been detrimental to having a nice city to live in! Stuff a sock in it, Quinn!

I will never forget you David. We were connected through a tragic event that at times just feelsRead More like yesterday, and then you were taken from this earth by another tragic event. The 28 years inbetween went to fast. You were humble and down to earth. I feel as though you were surprised at how many people you touched in your 41 years. It was evidence at your service that you are loved by many, and you will never be forgotten.
