In its 39th year, the Festival has a rich history that includes nonprofit vendors, community organizations, local merchants, artist and performers. We are now reorganizing and revamping the Sumner Art Festival to include Sumner’s worldwide claim to fame as the Rhubarb Pie Capital!
The two-day annual Festival will is held on Main Street downtown, in the core of the Sumner Community. The Downtown shops will be open to the public as well as some new addition. The traditional vendor booths, shops and the Ryan House Museum tours will be open and ready for business. As well as the new elements to the Festival, such as, the entertainment stage near the food court, culinary artists, expanded youth entertainment area plus historic Heritage park will feature new mobile food vendors, the Rhubarb Barrel House with micro-brew tastings, and a evening street dance.
