ManeStage Theatre Brings A Little Princess to Sumner May 11 Through May 26

The production stars Shaye Hodgins as Sara Crewe, ManeStage Executive Director Brenda S. Henson as Miss Minchin, Hillary Dominguez as Becky, and Kayli Christine as Miss Amelia.

ManeStage Theatre Company is thrilled to continue its Sixth Season with A Little Princess!  This exhilarating, new adaptation of a true classic will be performed by a talented group of over 55 experienced, local storytellers and musicians! Starring Shaye Hodgins as Sara Crewe, ManeStage Executive Director Brenda S. Henson as Miss Minchin, Hillary Dominguez as Becky, and Kayli Christine as Miss Amelia, this thrilling musical and contemporary score is sure to be a special treat for the whole family to enjoy!  Based on Francis Hodgson Burnett's acclaimed 19th Century novel, this exciting journey of true grace and virtue is sure to warm the hearts of audiences of all ages!

A Little Princess will open May 11, 2013, at the Sumner Performing Arts Center located at 1707 Main Street, Sumner, Washington.  Performances are scheduled for Saturday, May 11 at 7pm, Sunday, May 12 at 2pm, and the following weekends on Friday, May 17 at 7pm, Saturday, May 18 at 2pm and 7pm, Sunday, May 19 at 2pm, Friday, May 24 at 7pm, Saturday, May 25 at 2pm and 7 pm, and closes Sunday, May 26 at 2pm.

The show is Co-Directed by husband and wife team, Brenda and Jay Henson. The Music Director is Megan Worthen.  The costumers are Judy Brooks and Jodi Josephson.
