ManeStage Theatre Company Presents Into The Woods

ManeStage Theatre Company is thrilled to debut its Seventh Season with Into The Woods!  Inspired by Grimm's fairy tales, this Tony Award winning Broadway musical will be performed by a talented group of over 20 experienced, local storytellers! Starring Jonathan Fowles as the Baker, Samantha Lobberegt as the Baker's Wife, Amy Bell as the Witch,  Brittney Stout as Cinderella, Bryce Smith as Jack, and Megan Olson as Little Red Riding Hood, this hilarious and heartwarming tale is sure to entertain and inspire audiences!  Journey into a dark and beguiling place, where wishes come true, but not free.  Among the classic characters that wander the woods are Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, and Jack of beanstalk fame.  As their fanciful tales cleverly intertwine, they are forced to confront what actually happens after "happily ever after."

Into The Woods will open September 28, 2013, at the Sumner Performing Arts Center located at 1707 Main Street, Sumner, Washington.  Performances are scheduled for Saturday, September 28 at 7pm, Sunday, September 29 at 2pm, and the following weekends on Friday, October 4 at 7pm, Saturday, October 5 at 2pm and 7pm, Sunday, October 6 at 2pm, Friday, October 11 at 7pm, Saturday, October 12 at 2pm and 7 pm, and closes Sunday, October 13 at 2pm.  

The show is Co-Directed by husband and wife team, Brenda and Jay Henson. The Music Director  is local composer Daniel Schreiner.  The costumers are Judy Brooks and Jodi Josephson.
