ManeStage Theatre Company Presents 'Sleeping Beauty the Musical'

ManeStage Theatre Company is thrilled to continue its sixth season with The Legend of Sleeping Beauty! 

This delightful musical comedy will be performed by a talented group of over 40 experienced, local storytellers. Starring Brittney Stout as Sleeping Beauty, Bryce Smith as Prince Michael, Jonathan Fowles as Gilles and Megan Worthen as the evil Malicia, this enchanting tale is sure to be a hit with audiences of all ages!  Based on Grimm's Fairy Tale of Briar Rose the magic of "once upon a time" comes to life in a delightful musical comedy.

Sleeping Beauty will open February 2, 2012 at the Sumner Performing Arts Center located at 1707 Main Street, Sumner, Washington. 

Performances are scheduled for Saturday, February 2 at 7pm, Sunday, February 3 at 2pm, and the following weekends on Friday, February 8 at 7pm, Saturday, February 9 at 2pm and 7pm, Sunday, February 10 at 2pm, Friday, February 15 at 7pm, Saturday, February 16 at 2pm and 7 pm, and closes Sunday, February 17 at 2pm. 

A photo opportunity with Sleeping Beauty and her friends will be available following every performance!  Bring a camera!

The show is directed and choreographed by ManeStage Theatre's Executive Director Brenda S. Henson. The music director is Jennifer Garretson.  The costumers are Judy Brooks and Jodi Josephson.
