Tickets to See Larry the Cable Guy at the Puyallup Fair On Sale Saturday

Larry the Cable Guy will Git-R-Done in Puyallup at Washington State Fair stage on Sept. 19, 2013. Tickets go on sale on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 10 a.m.

Blue collar humor comes to life the moment you hear Larry the Cable Guy’s signature catchphrase, “Git-R-Done.” His CDs have not only been No. 1 on Billboard’s Comedy Charts, but have also been certified gold. Larry the Cable Guy is a bestselling author, and was named to Forbes “Celebrity 100” list in 2006 and 2007.

Comedian Larry the Cable Guy will perform in Puyallup on Thursday, Sept. 19, 7:30 p.m. at the Washington State Fair’s 2013 Concert Series, presented by Columbia Bank.

Tickets sell for $20, $40, $50 and $65, with reserved seating, and include Fair gate admission, unless noted. They are available starting on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 10 a.m. on the Fair website, or by phone daily at 1-(888) 559-FAIR (3247). Tickets can also be purchased in person at the Washington State Fair Box Office at 9th Avenue SW and Meridian Street on Saturdays, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., and Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m in Puyallup.

In less than a decade, Larry the Cable Guy has infused humor throughout the United States through television, CDs, books, and even movies. The History Channel is currently airing Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy on Tuesday nights. Each episode focuses on a site in the country, showing real history and different lifestyles, jobs and hobbies.

Over 4.1 million people watched The Comedy Central Roast of Larry the Cable Guy in 2009, with the third highest rated roast in the station’s history. Larry also starred in Blue Collar TV for the WB Network in 2004, drawing 5.4 million viewers, the second most watched show on television at that time.

On the movie front, he has starred in three movies, including Witless Protection, Delta Farce, and Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector, which sold more than 1 million DVDs in 2006. The sequel to the film Cars from Disney/Pixar will be released this year, with Larry voicing the character, Mater. The original movie opened at No. 1 at the box office in 2006, grossing over $200 million in the U.S.

Larry has toured with Jeff Foxworthy and Bill Engvall in the highly successful concert, Blue Collar Comedy Tour, which grossed more than $15 million. The tour was followed by the movie, selling 4 million units.
