Seattle Bike Expo to Land This Weekend

Out of all the stops that we are making this spring and summer, this is the one event I have been looking forward to for a while. All kinds of enthusiasts from the casual riders to the stunt bikers will be out at the Seattle Bike Expo up in Pier 91 this upcoming weekend. Out of all the performances that will be occurring that weekend, I am most excited for the Ride and Glide BMX Stunt Team that will be performing.

Whether it be tail whips, flairs or a combination of both, the Ride and Glide Stunt team will surely impress. Not only does the team impress with their trick prowess, Ride and Glide seeks to send out a positive message about living a healthy lifestyle, staying drug free and promoting self confidence in young children to go out and do what they love. Through the Ride and Glide program, hundreds of kids among the various elementary schools, Boys and Girls Clubs and expos/festivals around the Northwest have been able to enjoy the acrobatics that the team throws in the air while learning about the importance of safety and living a healthy lifestyle. It is the positive messages that the Ride and Glide team promotes that makes me excited to work with the team through Emerald Pacific this upcoming weekend. We will be working with the team this upcoming weekend to get media for them to help promote their message of living a healthy lifestyle and staying drug free to build confidence in children to be successful for future endeavors.

The expo will run on Saturday, March 10th from 9am to 6pm and Sunday, March 11th from 10am to 4pm at Smith Cove Pier 91 in Seattle. Admission is set at $10 for a single day pass and $12 for both days. Any children 15 and under are given free admission. The Ride and Glide team will be set to perform in the downstairs performance area on Saturday at 11am, 1:05pm, and 4:55pm and on Sunday at 12pm and 1:55pm.
