East Pierce Volunteer Firefighters Pancake Feed Fundraiser

The East Pierce Volunteer Firefighters Association will be holding a Pancake Feed Fundraiser prior to Milton Days' “Rock the Park!” on Saturday, August 18th from 7:30 – 10:30 am at East Pierce Fire and Rescue’s Milton Station 114 located at 1000 Laurel Street.  Funds raised will benefit the VFA’s Scholarship for Excellence Program.  Each year at least five area high school seniors are awarded scholarships to assist with their dreams of obtaining a college education.

The Pancake Feed will be the first time the VFA has put on an event of this nature.  “We hope to make this an annual tradition and bring the outlying community to Milton” states Volunteer Captain and VFA Vice-President Mark Nevill.

Tickets for the Pancake Feed are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for kids 10 years old and under.  One ticket will get you one meal and one drink and will be available at the door for purchase.  Fire engines, aid units, and rescue apparatus will be available for free tours as well.
