Jewelry and Pawn Shop Coming to Site of Former Diamond Lounge

Owner Melissa Denny said an opening date is on hold while she awaits permits to finish renovations to the building.

The sign for Pistol Annie's Jewelry & Pawn went up about a month ago, but owner Melissa Denny said Friday an official opening date has yet to be determined as she waits for final permits to complete renovations to the building at 18701 Veterans Memorial Drive East, the former site of the Diamond Lounge.

According to The Courier-Herald, the city of Bonney Lake received a business license application on June 5. The state Department of Revenue indicates Denny, under Dualstar Enterprises, LLC, was issued the license on June 14.

Denny said about two-thirds of the building will constitute the front-facing section of the business while the remaining third kept for storage.
