Zombie Sneak Peek Party @ Maris Farms Sept. 28th

The party is from 7-11 pm. Entry is $30 online and includes an event t-shirt, entry into the Haunted Woods and Monster Safari events for their dress rehearsal performances, one beverage at the beer garden or concession stand and entry into a drawing for a season’s pass to Maris Farms, which officially kicks off its 2013 season the following weekend. Party goers will also receive a 2-for-1 coupon to return back to the farm during the season. Food, beer and cider will all be available as well as purchasing extra paintballs for the Monster Safari. Some other fun activities planned for the evening include an “intestine-eating” contest and zombie makeovers. Walk-up is $40 but does not include a t-shirt.

Located between Bonney Lake and Buckley in rural Pierce County, Maris Farms is home to the month-long fall harvest event known for its 6-acre corn maze, giant pumpkins and scary Harvest of Terror haunts. Those activities (and many more) will officially begin the weekend of Oct. 5-6.

None of the normal daytime activities will be operating that day, but visitors will be able to grab a bite to eat and preview some parts of the farm before it “officially” opens the following weekend.
