To Capture a Moment

It isn't just something that we do, it is something that is running through my veins. When people look at a photo, they may see the contents in focus and relate to it a little bit and move on. However, it is capturing a moment of time that can never be relived again. A moment of time that captures emotions, the environment, and the feeling around it that can speak incredible volumes and a vast amount of messages within a second of looking at it.

Hi my name is Christian and welcome to my intro and first blog. I am an artist at heart. My passions include playing the drums, writing stories, and drawing, but my overall greatest art is photography. 

My creative journey began two years ago, in my first photography class at Green River Community College. I had little to no experience in photography so I did not know what to expect. It was a black and white film class, where I learned the basics of this wonderful trade, and how to develop film. As the class started to come to an end I knew that this is where I wanted to be.

I came to "The Patch" through a friend, ; another writer for "The Patch." He recommended that I take a look into writing a blog since I just have a photoblog. In the posts to come I plan to write tips & tricks, specials, photo of week, and much more.
