This week will be a year since I started my sports blog. I wanted to thank everyone who has read and commented on my blogs. I love talking sports and blogging has been a nice outlet for me.
There is always something to write about in sports. It is like the opening to ABC's Wide World of Sports, "the thrill of victory... and the agony of defeat... the human drama of athletic competition." Who doesn't cheer for an underdog or want to see David take down Goliath.
I don't need to watch soap operas when I have my sport's operas to follow. Like will the Mariners finish this season above .500, who will be the Seahawks' starting quarterback in 2012 and can the Sounders finally win a playoff game?
I have to thank Patch for allowing me to blog. My biggest fear about blogging was my spelling and punctuation skills. I can't thank Lauren Padgett enough for all her help. I call her editing skills, "as making my blogs look pretty." I am sure she has learned more about sports then she will ever want to know.
