Bonney Lake Launches Storm Debris Dropoff Site, Prairie Ridge Location Reopens

Bonney Lake residents can drop off storm debris at Allan Yorke Park boat launch; county citizens can again visit the Prairie Ridge dropoff location to unload theirs.

Starting Tues., Jan. 24, residents within Bonney Lake's city limits can drop off storm debris at the Allan Yorke Park gravel boat launch parking lot. The Prairie Ridge Transfer Station has also reopened after it was -- county residents are encouraged to use that location.

Bonney Lake will accept storm debris at the city dropoff location starting Tues., Jan. 24 through Sunday, Feb. 5 during business hours -- 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

If you utilize Bonney Lake's dropoff site, note the following rules:

  • Debris should consist of tree limbs only.
  • Limbs shall be no longer than 8 feet (pick up box length) and shall be no longer than 10 inches in diameter.
  • No landscape contractors, garbage, construction debris or stumps will be accepted.

For storm debris disposal in yard waste containers or for residents outside city limits, contact DM Disposal at 253-414-0345, or the Prairie Ridge Transfer Station at 253-862-1704.
