The following are the snow and ice removal procedures for the city of Bonney Lake:
Snow plow/sand trucks will concentrate on State Route 410 as well as the Main Arterials during snow events. “Priority Routes” are those considered the prime movers of high volume traffic throughout the City of Bonney Lake. Other “Local Access” streets will be plowed/sanded as crews are available with priority given to steep slopes and police declared emergencies.
Procedures for State Route 410:
Snow plows will work in tandem to clear the eastbound and westbound lanes of SR-410 at the start of any snow event. Upon completion of SR-410, operators will work individually on Priority Routes defined below.
