Bridge Street Bridge in Sumner Closed for Inspection
The Washington State Department of Transportation will close Bridge Street Bridge to all traffic on Monday, April 18 and close the bridge off to trucks on Tuesday, April 19.
The Bridge Street Bridge in Sumner will close to all traffic today, April 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tomorrow, the bridge will reopen to passenger vehicles but remain closed to trucks. Readerboards will detour drivers to 24th Street and the West Valley Highway.
The Washington State Department of Transportation is mandating the bridge closure for their biennial full inspection. The bridge will fully reopen to all local traffic on Wednesday, April 20.
