  • Why Go: Nunsense the musical begins when the Little Sisters of Hoboken discover that their cook, Sister Julia, Child of God, has accidentally poisoned 52 of the sisters, and they are in dire need of funds for the burials. The sisters decide that the best way to raise the money is to put on a variety show, so they take over the school auditorium, which is currently set up for the eighth grade production of "Grease." Featuring star turns, tap and ballet dancing, an audience quiz, and comic surprises, this show has become an international phenomenon.

  • Where/When: 6:30 p.m. every Friday at the Bonney Lake Senior Center.
  • Why Go: Looking for a place to take the kids on Friday night and not spend a bundle? And maybe come home with more money than you went with? The Bonney Lake Senior Center has Family Bingo on Friday nights at 6:30. If the kids are old enough to play, bring them along. Cash prizes! They can win, too! Bingo is a fund raiser for the Senior Center and helps to provide many activities for the community seniors. It's also a way for families to do something together.

As part of Museums on Us, 154 leading U.S. cultural institutions, in 91 cities across the country, open their doors to bank cardholders on the first full weekend of each month.

The Komen Puget Sound's 19th Race for the Cure is an opportunity to raise critical funds and awareness, celebrate survivors, and honor those who have lost their battle to breast cancer. Every 69 seconds, a woman loses her life to breast cancer. One in 8 women will be diagnosed with the disease in their lifetime.
