Two weeks ago, Bonney Lake-Sumner Patch launched our new Local Voices section. Every day, we've been posting blog items from citizens in Bonney Lake and Sumner writing about a variety of local topics.
The number of bloggers on the site continues to grow. I'd like to introduce the newest ones to you, and re-acquaint you with the others as well:
: Kelda is a Sumner resident who is a student of permaculture. She travels around the world, building her knowledge of green communities, gardening and sustainable living.
: Carla is the general manager of C&C Zumba in Sumner and is the author of Big Girls Don't Wear Belts, a diary of her weight-loss journey.
: Thad is the pastor of Christian Church in Bonney Lake and will blog about faith, philosophy and living life open.
: Georgia is a mother of two -- a two-month old girl and an almost three year-old boy. She'll blog about family outings and moments shared in the great outdoors of the Bonney Lake plateau.
: Karen is a Titans Swim Team mom and has dedicated her blog to sharing information about the team and rallying Plateau families around a cause: saving the Sumner pool.
: Justin will blog about the significance of sports in one's life and might throw in a couple stories from , his bar in Sumner.
: Liz and real estate partner Heidi North of will blog (and vlog!) about the local real estate market and demystifying housing terms and trends.
: Lora will blog about recent news and Get Fit Bonney Lake, the biggest local fitness event of the year.
Thanks to the roster above, Bonney Lake-Sumner Patch now has a great mix of local bloggers up and running. Even so, I'm always on the look out for more local voices. Have an area you'd like to blog about? Feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. I'd love to hear from you!
