  • Where/When: Prelims start at 5 p.m., PPV event starts at 6 p.m. at Wayne's Inn in Puyallup on Sat., April 30.
  • Why Go: If you're looking to catch the fights this weekend the two closest options are Wayne's and the Yella Beak. I'd go with Wayne's -- they have 16 big-screens scattared throughout the joint and in my opinion, better food. It doesn't really matter where you go though, the fight card will still be stacked and should make for a night of unforgettable fights!
  • Pricing: Ordering the pay-per-view at home will cost about $50, watching the fights at Wayne's is free. You can also expect specials on select drinks during the fights.

  • Where/When: 8 p.m. Sat, April 30 at the High Cedars Golf Club in Orting.
  • Why Go: This isn't a putt putt glow-in-the-dark type of tournament, it's an actual game of golf played on the executive course of High Cedars. You'll need to bring a flashlight, clubs, and your A-game for this golfing event.
  • Pricing: $100 per team (teams of 4).

The Maple Valley Rotary fires up the grill for hamburgers at 5 p.m. Friday night and breakfast is served from 12:01 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Saturday. Good luck and remember, a bad day of fishing is still better than a good day at the office!

  • Why Go: Looking to test the level your fitness this weekend? The Mt. Rainier Duathlon on Sunday is probably the biggest test you'll be able to find. One part run, and one part bike and then just for fun, a four mile run to top it off. This race is no joke. At least you'll have the weather working in your favor. Good luck!
