Understanding how to use social networking and search engines in a safe manor without compromising safety is crucial in today’s society.

While the Internet is filled with enormous promise, it also carries some serious new safety concerns.  One of which is how to protect yourself from predators.  As sophisticated as pre-teens and teens have become, many don’t realize that the types of Web sites they visit, the information they post about themselves, and the off hand remarks they sometimes make can lead to danger or trouble.  This training will consist of a PowerPoint presentation, as well as real examples of what to do and not to do on the Internet to avoid predators.

This free session is appropriate for parents, educators and individuals in the community that work with youth as well as pre-teens, teens and older youth.

This is not the first time or the first person Quinn tried to hurt. I think she has a bitter andRead More evil heart. Instead of building and supporting the city, she prefers to tear down anything good and honorable. I'm so glad the voters saw fit to pass her by when she ran for election! With her attitude, it would have been detrimental to having a nice city to live in! Stuff a sock in it, Quinn!

I will never forget you David. We were connected through a tragic event that at times just feelsRead More like yesterday, and then you were taken from this earth by another tragic event. The 28 years inbetween went to fast. You were humble and down to earth. I feel as though you were surprised at how many people you touched in your 41 years. It was evidence at your service that you are loved by many, and you will never be forgotten.
