 ,   Add to calendar
 Bonney Lake-Sumner  See map

This is a no cost mini-camp where coaches and players from the Rainier Plateau Junior Rugby Club will be teaching participants the basic skills and fundamentals of playing the game of rugby.  We are holding these sessions for both Female and Male Players ages 14 - 18.  We have no set boundaries and Players are welcome from all areas.

This mini-camp will create a fun and safe enviroment for complete novice players to have an introduction to the sport.  The emmphasis of the camp will be to provide prospective players an understanding and realizattion that they are entering into a community of athletes who have little more than one year of experience playing rugby and who shared the same level of fear of the unknown or at messing up when they started last January.

During camp participants will develop skills to run, pass, and kick the rugby ball and the importance of teamwork, communication, and support of teammates.  At the conclusion of camp player will be given information on how to join the boy's or girl's Rainier Highlanders Junior Rugby Club. We will be meeting at Sunset Stadium @ Sumner High School from 3:45-5:45.  Come out for as many sessions as you can.  Feel free to bring a friend and come join the fun!  More information about the camp can be found at our website: www.rainierjuniorrugby.com.

This is not the first time or the first person Quinn tried to hurt. I think she has a bitter andRead More evil heart. Instead of building and supporting the city, she prefers to tear down anything good and honorable. I'm so glad the voters saw fit to pass her by when she ran for election! With her attitude, it would have been detrimental to having a nice city to live in! Stuff a sock in it, Quinn!

I will never forget you David. We were connected through a tragic event that at times just feelsRead More like yesterday, and then you were taken from this earth by another tragic event. The 28 years inbetween went to fast. You were humble and down to earth. I feel as though you were surprised at how many people you touched in your 41 years. It was evidence at your service that you are loved by many, and you will never be forgotten.
