The city of Bonney Lake on Monday shared the 2013 winners of its Stormwater Pollution Prevention and Water Conservation Calendar contest.
The idea behind the calendar, which features the 12 finalists, is to promote pollution prevention and water conservation. Artists choose one of six themes:
- Pollution/Illegal Dumping Reporting
- Friendly Vehicle Washing
- Water Conservation
- Pet Waste Disposal
- Used Oil Recycling
- Household Hazardous Waste Disposal
The 12 winners will receive a $50 cash prize along with being included in the city calendar for 2014.
