A Taste of Romance: Sweetheart Wine Walk

A Taste of Romance: Sweetheart Wine Walk

Sponsored by Columbia Bank and hosted by the Sumner Downtown Association, you are invited to join the Sumner community for their Annual Sweetheart Wine Walk themed A Taste of Romance.

Tickets are on sale now for just $15 each and includes a wine glass, six  one-ounce taste tickets, a wine passport and a box of chocolates for the first 800 pre-registrations. Ticket prices go up to $20 beginning February 1st.

This year will feature up to 60 different wines presented by various merchants located throughout the downtown core.  The Attic will host several vendors in their space and will be presenting some very high end wines as well.

As you meander through some of the downtown stores, you will find an array of live music to add that touch of romance to the evening.  Local restaurants will be open for dinner service both before and after the event which begins at 4 pm and ends at 7 pm on February 9th. These would include:  Sorci's, Mid-Town Station, Sabrina's Lunch in a Box, Dixie's, Alversanos, Farrelli's and a few others.  You might also select to dine at Toscano's, located just a short mile from downtown Sumner.

We have also partnered with the Holiday Inn Express and Suites of Sumner to create a wonderful, romantic overnight package.  For just $150, you will receive two wine walk tickets, an overnight stay for two, shuttle to and from the wine walk, rose petals/chocolate at turn-down service, a bottle of champagne or sparkling cider and Continental Breakfast.  In all, this is package is valued at $225. Why not make it an early Valentine's Day present for that someone special in your life.

Whether you are a wine conisuer or the designated driver, there will be something for everyone.  For more information, please contact the Sumner Downtown Association at 253-720-9846 or by going to our website at www.sumnerdowntown.com.

Come....Spend some time in Sumner.
