Sponsors Sought for Sumner Events

Sumner Non-Profit Seeks Sponsors

The Sumner Downtown Association is seeking sponsorship investments in three upcoming beloved Sumner events: Rhubarb Days, Sumner Art Festival and Classy Chassis.

Time is of the essence as one of our major ad publications is about to go to press.  We would love to include the logo of our sponsor(s) on this 1/3 page color ad for Sunset Magazine which will reach well over 360,000 homes in the Pacific Northwest.

These events bring many people to the Sumner community and the monies raised from these events help to support things like the Sumner/Bonney Lake Community Float.  Without a community float, neither Bonney Lake or Sumner High School could have a Daffodil Princess as the float is a requirement.  This year's float, designed by Terry Flippen of Artistic Solutions, won the Grand Sweepstakes Award.  That's the "top dog" of awards for the 80th Daffodil Festival.

Please consider investing in one of these well attended events.  Besides the print ads, your logo will be on the banner that hangs over Main Street, will be on all literature or flyers produced, will allow for your business to have a booth during the event and of course, will show amazing community support.

I've knocked on doors, sent letters and written articles to ask.  While I know the economy has still not recovered, losing any of these events would affect not just the local merchants, but our local economy.  The Sumner Downtown Association is a private 501 (c)3 Non-profit and for the sake of clarity, is not owned and operated by the City of Sumner.  However, we are a proud community partner of the City of Sumner.
