Do you miss the rain? This year I did not, but as soon as it came I was released and ready to be charged up. I have always wondered why rain makes me happy. Is it the negative ions that do it for me? Whatever, I am happy.
First, lets cook some soup and cornbread..... Yum. Put a can of corn in it and some cheese and green chilis. Feel like I am back home all I need is the pot liquor to soak in and away we go.
God has blessed my art, I have sold a painting. The right person came along and it was his. This happens with all my work. I may do a painting and it never sell for years until "bam," the right person finds it. They won't ever end up in garage sale or at the Goodwill, even though I own 2 paintings from local artists that I know which I spotted in the thrift store. It was cool to say the least.
