Day One of Fighting to Help Our Kids Get an Education

Well, this morning I tried to help get a banner put up for the upcoming Bonney Lake High School play at the PAC next weekend. I was informed that it would cost $150. I ask, why? Well, I was told it take a lot of man power to hang a banner. I was shocked and pissed. 

Does the City of Sumner know how much money our little plays bring into town? I know that most of the people that I talk to, say we go to dinner before or after, IN SUMNER.

I cannot believe they are changing everyone, so I am going to use my right and ask for a public records report for the last year and see who pays and who does not. I have searched the city web site for over an hour trying to find fees, how much fees are and who pays them. I cannot find anything. I was told it is a Special Event fee, which I donot understand at all.

So does everyone that uses the Pac for a show or uses the stadiums that want to hang a banner have to pay for it? I know I have seen more than one ManeStage sign up there over the last year. The High School put one up last spring and we did not have to pay for it. I am putting a request in for public records as soon as I can. 

This is the start of my blogs that will tell people in this community that things are not right and some people and organizations are getting away with alot. Not paying for the time they use school property and cities making rules but not enforcing them or letting some people get by with not following the rules.

And yes I have a lot of paperwork to back up my mouth.
