Who Does This???

For the third time since June, someone has stolen or simply pulled up flowers from the Sumner Downtown Association's planter outside their office.  Who does this?

As a member of the downtown community, SDA has worked hard to make their small office more attractive for locals and visitors alike. Everyone would like to enjoy a beautiful downtown. In addition, these items cost money...money that often a non-profit does not have for continual replacement of such losses. 

Then let’s talk about the time it takes to care, water, fertilize and nurture the garden so that it continues to look beautiful all year around. 

To date, we've had nearly $200 worth of stolen or uprooted flowers.  For the thief and/or vandal(s), and you know who you are, you are being watched as we now have a monitoring system to catch you...and we will catch you.  Leave our garden alone.  Buy your own darned flowers and keep your thieving and vandalizing mitts off of ours!
