Two masked intruders were shot and killed by a Summit homeowner early Thursday morning when they tried to break into his home, Pierce County Sheriff officials said.
There was a marijuana grow house operation inside the luxury home, on the 5900 block of 132nd Street.
The homeowner killed the two during an apparent robbery, said Pierce County Sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer. He said it appeared the intruders were after the marijuana inside.
According to KOMO News, the 35-year-old homeowner and his 9-year-old son who witnessed the shooting, were not injured.
