East Pierce Fire and Rescue crews confirmed reports of a body hanging from the Fairfax Bridge south of Carbonado.
The bridge sits about 250 feet above the Carbon River.
Pierce County Sheriff’s deputies were on their way to the scene at about 3 p.m.
According to The News Tribune (http://m.thenewstribune.com/newstrib/db_320561/contentdetail.htm?contentguid=THNpS9vd), the location is on the 24500 block of SR 165.
