Police were familiar with the 23 year-old man and knew him to be armed and as someone who gets into fights so they requested backup. When police knocked on the shared residence, they got no response but received permission from the other man to enter. They found the 23 year-old in his bedroom, lying face up with a BB gun in his hands. When police identified themselves the man didn’t move, and then police placed the man under arrest. They located a small multi-colored pipe used to smoke marijuana in his pants pocket.  The man denied ever assaulting his roommate and that he hadn’t seen him all day. There were no witnesses present, and police placed the man under arrest for domestic violence harassment, domestic assault and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
