Bonney Lake Police Blotter, July 3- July 10

The following arrest information was supplied by the Bonney Lake police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

July 3

Child Neglect

11:08 pm: An officer was dispatched to the Safeway parking lot, located at 21301 SR 410 for a report of children left alone in a vehicle. When the officer arrived the vehicle was exiting the parking lot. The officer was able to catch the vehicle that had five children ranging in age from 2 months to 12 years old. The driver seemed confused and lost.

During a records check the driver’s status came back as Driving While License Suspended in the third degree (DWLS 3). When asked to get out of the vehicle the driver could not keep their balance. The officer found seven pills in the driver’s jacket pocket. The driver was arrested on four accounts of leaving a child in a parked car, and 1 count of DWLS 3 and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

July 4

Burglary of a Fireworks stand

8:59 am: Officers received a call that someone had broke into a fireworks stand located on the 21900 block of SR410 E. The owner had noticed the concrete fence block had been lifted up and a rock had been placed under the block allowing room for a person to slide under the fence. The owner also found a cut in the tent where the fence had been lifted up. The officers asked the owner to provide them with a list of missing items. The own advised the officer the amount was going to be over $1,000.

July 6

Domestic Dispute

4:58 am: An officer was dispatched to the block of 202 Ave E on a report of a domestic dispute. On arrival both parties said they had been arguing over family issues involving their child. There was no property damage and neither party reported any physical assault. One of the parties decided to leave the residence for the day and no other actions were taken.

July 8

Found Property

10:42 am: An officer was dispatched to the block of 197th Ave E to take custody of a found boat. The person who made the call said the boat was unsecure and had bumped into his dock. They then pulled the boat over to their personal bat launch out of the water. The officer located a Hull number and ran it through dispatch. Dispatch was unable to locate a registered owner. The boat was then transported to the Bonney Lake Police Department.

July 10

Hit and Run Accident

10:56 pm: An officer was dispatched to a two vehicle hit and run collision at the intersection of Sky Island Drive and 176th Ave East. The driver of the victim vehicle said they were driving northbound on Sky Island Drive, came to the intersection of 176th Ave East, observed a silver passenger vehicle stopped facing southbound. As the driver of the victim vehicle came through the intersection of 176th Ave East, the silver vehicle quickly turned causing the vehicles to collide. The silver vehicle left backed up and left the scene in a hurry.

A witness followed the car until it turned onto 109th Street East. Officers checked the area and found a vehicle that matched the description. The driver of the car was home and was arrested for Hit & Run Attended Vehicle.
