Bonney Lake Police Search for Suspect After Attempted Abduction

A 17 year-old girl was almost abducted Friday, Nov. 4 as she waited for her school bus on Angeline Rd.

A 17 year-old female defended herself from a male attacker after he attempted to abduct her while she waited at a school bus stop, said Bonney Lake Police. The incident occured around 7 a.m. on Nov. 4, on the 11300 block of Angeline Rd E.

The victim was sitting on a bench when the suspect reportedly grabbed her from behind and told her to come with him. The young woman struck and kicked the suspect, who fled on foot when another student approached the bus stop.

The victim waited at the bus stop until the bus arrived and reported the incident to the driver, who relayed the message to the school district.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s, about 6 feet tall with a heavy build and wearing dark clothing. Police have no leads at this time.

Officers are conducting additional patrols in the area. Anyone with information should call the Bonney Lake Police Department.
