Search for Missing Buckley Inner Tuber Called Off
A Buckley man who went missing while inner tubing on the Puyallup River Sunday is still missing and the rescue search was called off on Monday evening.
UPDATE 7/9/12, 6:11PM: We've recieved word from East Pierce Fire and Rescue that the search for the missing man has been called off. He has not been found.
"When the water levels go down we will reevaluate it," said Pierce County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Ed Troyer.
A 29-year-old Buckley man who went missing while intertubing on the Puyallup River on Sunday has not been found.

The man floated away in the 12800 block of McMillian Road, north of Orting. His friends called 911 after they couldn’t reach him. Another inner tuber who also disappeared was later found and treated for injuries.
On Monday, swift water rescue teams continued to search the river for the man using boats and airplanes.
